Meet Becky

Occupational Therapist

Hi everyone, I’m Becky, an Occupational Therapist in Adelaide, South Australia. Originally from the UK, I’ve been an OT for 20 years and have a passion for helping people with their recovery from brain injury. Whether that be acquired through illness or a traumatic event.

I have worked in brain injury rehabilitation for the majority of my career and I love forging trusting relationships with my clients and listening to their stories. I want to use my experience and skills to help people with an acquired brain injury understand more about what they are going through, and how they can improve their daily life.

Thank you for being here with me. I’m excited to be here with you.

I’ve been there too …

A few years ago, my husband, Steve, fell through a roof at work and sustained a mild traumatic brain injury. At the time I was seven months pregnant with our second child. It was terrifying.

I was so grateful to have the knowledge and experience to be able to give Steve the best support I could during his recovery. However, it really hit home that not everyone has this privilege, or easy access to services to help them in their brain injury rehabilitation journey.
